Yorkshire Pudding SEO

Yorkshire Pudding SEO is a system, a method of working and a way of optimising your online presence that can be applied to any website or social media account of any nature and is designed so that you yourself can implement these ideas.

Far too often we see clients who want results, FAST and if they knew anything about SEO they would understand that these things take time. Just like a Yorkshire Pudding.

I recall learning how to cook Yorkshire Puddings many years ago and it takes time and patience, a willingless to learn and an ability to apply very simple instructions. Much like SEO.

And in much the same way time and patience have to be applied to a website's on page optimisation.

What Is a Yorkshire Pudding...?

If you can make pancakes you can make a Yorkshire Pudding. You simply add a little more air while mixing, leave to stand, heat a tray and place in the oven. It's that simple, really.

The secret is in the preperation. If you don't prepare them properly then they simply do not rise but there's a little more to it than that, a little known trick...

Just as with Yorkshire Puddings, the work is all in the preperation, you set the foundations properly and everything you build on them is fine.

So What Do Yorkshire Puddings Have to do With SEO...?

One of the things that is really really important when cooking Yorkshire Puddings is that you place them in the oven for around 30 minutes. However, and here's the rub: You cannot open the oven to peek, not even a little, otherwise they do not rise.

Here's where cooking Yorkshire Puddings and SEO come together. We work on many sites where we optimise a page or many pages and we do the best we can. We then have to leave it in the hands of the SERP Gods until we see the pages being indexed.

Of-course, there's more to SEO than simply optimising the page and waiting but in essence this is what we do so we coined the phrase "Yorkshire Pudding SEO".

Applying The Methodology...

Do your research, find out what keywords are most popular, where you might like to add them to your site and then create a keyword distribution plan. This can be a simple spreadsheet and it can control the content that gets placed on the website but the most important element is that you should do your reasearch thoroughly and once you have implemented the keywords leave them be unless there's a significant business reason not to.

If you need help, advice, support or even hands on work then feel free to review our retainer packages (link available below) and we can create a keyword analysis and keyword distribution for you for free with any retainer package.
